The Pro Touring concept doesn't get much better than this!! This 1966 has undergone a ground up restoration. Of the three body styles available for the first-generation 65-66 Mustangs, the 2+2 Fastback is the most popular today for performance modifications with many builders choosing the Shelby appearance.
On the Exterior of this Laser straight body check out this beautiful Raven Black Exterior Paint with custom Red Racing Stripes and Side Stripes with Boss 302 callouts. Sporting the Shelby hood, Billet Grille, bullet-style chrome racing mirror, and horizontal taillights.
Powered by a modern 5.0L V8 Engine, aluminum radiator, finned-aluminum valve covers and serpentine-belt front accessory-drive system. Which feeds power through the Tremec 5-speed Manual Transmission.
Looking on the inside of this beauty, it has a Pony Red Interior with specially bolstered bucket seats, wood-grain trim, 3-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel and molded door panels. Enhancing the interior is a custom console with aftermarket floor shifter and tachometer.
On the Undercarriage of this Mustang, you will find 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust, GT-type trumpet exhaust tips, Halibrand-look American Racing Shelby style wheels, 18-inch in front, 20-inch in rear, and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. The front shock towers are stiffed by a chrome “Monte Carlo” bar that has been modified to clear the large air-cleaner assembly.
